X2 on the KSC-75's. Cheap, easy to mod, and great sounding.

I disagree. This might be the case if you are a basshead... but, in my opinion, it comes at the cost of bass clarity and definition.

I recommend the SoundMAGIC P10 highly over the KSC75.

portapros!! what's useful esp about them is that if you want a change in the sound ever so slightly, you can mount the ksc-75s on them as well, and at $35 for the whole set, i'd say you did a pretty good job value-wise
