SOHA JISBOS as preamp

Hi folks,
Is it feasible for me to use my SOHA + JISBOS as a preamp for my speaker amp?
any things that i should watch out for?

Regards,

Aside from the gain being a bit too high, I don't see why it wouldn't work. The usual power-up and power-down sequencing between preamp and power amp applies.

Yes, as amb suggests, if your amp is capable of passing DC then any offset from the preamp will be multiplied & sent to your speakers. I lost a pair for FE126Es that way...
So think ε12. Although you might always get pwr on/off seq right, someone else may not.

Other than that you may not be entirely pleased w/the results WRT gain (as amb noted), impedance, etc.

thanks for the advice guys.
what is this power on/off seq ?
turning on the pre-amp then amplifier?

Turn on: preamp first, then power amp.
Turn off: power amp first, then preamp.

This is a good idea for most separates, especially a preamp with tubes because it takes the tube time to heat up and stabilize. Preamps and amps with built-in muting delay are excepted, if the time interval is long enough.
