Nice review, Ryan. So judging from the what you have written, is it safe to conclude that the FET-A is a warm-sounding amp?

Thanks for taking the time to read it through. I think the amp itself is transparent enough where if you feed it an extremely bright source with a very harsh recording, it won't make it prettier, that is for sure. Also, I have never really found tube amps, or the ones I have owned, to be "warm" sounding on every recording, in every rig. I would say that the FET-A portrays excellent tone, and it so happens that a lot of my recordings that I listen to happen to have a certain density and texture, especially in the midband, that I listen for. I hope that clarifies a little bit of it, but I would say that the amp is definitely not thin, etchy, bleached, adjectives we usually apply to the general term of "bright".
