HD414 are nice! i tried to get one but so many fakes, it was too risky. and i didnt knew about that AKG K50.. man AKG has so many nice old stuff..

 

I have been trying to get a pioneer se l40 at ebay but everytime it goes over 100$ ... im not willing to pay that much, if they are gonna be an ornament mostly.

Those Pioneer SE-L40's are a gorgeous work of art. I'd stare at those all day. How do they sound? Worth the purchase? ( what kind of question is that... )

@ nick n: How do the AKG K240's sound (and impressions from music examples)?  Are they easy to drive since its the 600ohm not the common 50ohm one, I've always wanted to pick one of them up (around $30-50 here) from some local bin's :D

I prefer the DF and the Sextett over the M.   You do get a little more bang for the buck with the M.  They're not hard to drive because they're fairly sensitive.  You will need an amp though.
