Open Headphone Leakage Measurements? - Page 2

One last follow-up on this thread.

I have been using these Sennheiser 650s now for a couple of weeks and they have been great.

My housemate has not heard a thing. I've used them for music, film, and gaming - all at normal listening levels. He says he's even tried listening for them but hasn't been able to hear anything.

So that's about as clear as it gets. Just to reiterate: His sleeping room is approximately 15 feet down a hallway from my home theater. I do not close the door to my home theater (gets too warm) but he closes his door. He can hear nothing from my headphones.

So that about does it. Thanks again to those of you who chimed in here. It was helpful.

Hey there. Would you mind asking your housemate how much he can hear if he's in the room with you, preferably during the night when it's really quiet. I share my room and would like to know exactly how much sound leaks out and whether it is a disturbing level. I'm using the old style xbox which is quite noisy so anything slightly more or less than that would be acceptable
