Well, I already have an E5...so yeah.

My UHP336 officially died like 15 minutes ago. The sound is gone from the left ear. I'm now debating between the PK3 and the RE2.

I promise guys, these are my last set of questions:

1. How much sound does the PK3 and RE2 leak? It's not KSC75 levels right (seriously, those things could pass off as speakers)?
2. How would you compare the RE2 to the NE-7M?
3. Which sounds better, RE2 + E5 or just a PK3

Thanks a lot. Will be ordering today. Hopefully it will arrive soon.

re2 for an analytical sound signature. and for me, its isolation is above the ep630/cx300, especially with the big double flanges.

pk3 for a fun signature.

EDIT: to answer your questions...

1. the re2 doesn't leak at all if you listen to music at moderate to somewhat high levels. the pk3 should leak a bit.

Alrrrrrrright! I just ordered my RE2. I'll be using them with the bi-flanges and my E5. I hope all will be great!

Also, I plan on ordering some PK3's too, once I have the money. I felt bad about not owning them.

I didn't go with the NE-7M's because of the fact that I don't need a mic and I didn't have the money to afford the extra 10 bucks. Oh well.

I really hope the RE2's are a step up from the SF3's.

Good Luck

1. RE2 < PK3 < KSC75 RE2 seals fairly well and 75s are like open HP.

2. Nuforce have much better lows, RE2s bright and analytical highs and mids

3. PK3 beats RE2 + E5 by a mile in my book. RE2s get more bass with E5 but still no match for PK3 for me. And the highs are sterile

Let us know how you feel after you get your RE2s.
