Selling my very first DIY projects. They both sound great. They're the JDSLabs DIY version 2.02

New from JDS they're $65 plus shipping minus the bass boost knob. (Damn knob and pot alone are like $10!)

Here's the first one with the boost knob: I'll sell this one for $50 including paypal and standard shipping.

Here's a shot of the other one without the boost knob: I'll sell this one for $40 (SOLD) including paypal fee and standard shipping.

EDIT: ADDED PICS

The case for this one is the standard red and white altoids tin. Plus, the knobs and such are in the "stock" location on the end of the tin compared to the other one I'm selling where I've relocated the knobs to the long end to accommodate the extra knob. Can't seem to find a pic of the final assembly but I'll add one later. But it basically looks exactly like the one on the website here (with blue LED, knob, and all).

Also, they both have the OPA2227PA opamps and the upgraded Wima caps

On the CMOY w/OUT the bass boost, how much boost is there in the bass compared to boost in all frequencies? (I'm an amp noobie -- I have a Fiio E5 with bass boost that sounds OK, but can be false boomy, and I've not heard a CMOY before).

From the JDS labs website:

Quote:
The cMoyBB ships with an internal bass boost toggle switch. Switched off, the original, flat audio signal is amplified. Switched on, bass is increased up to 9.4 dB, just shy of a perceived 2x increase in bass volume.
I think the bass boost is executed pretty well actually. With my full size phones, it just sounds more bassy. With my good IEM's, it sounds pretty balanced. With my crappy IEM's, it sounds bad though. I get some distortion in the lower freqs.
