Well, I decided to get next day for a few reasons:

1. I'll be one of the first people to have it so I can benefit people with a review and feel special

2. My IE8 is being repaired so I don't have a top tier IEM available for use ATM.

3. I will be leaving school very soon since my last day of classes is friday

5. I also can't get packages on the weekends because all our packages go to our housing office and our office is closed on Saturday/Sunday.

Mine shipped as well. I am thinking of using the modified triple flange which i used with um2 and see how it sounds. Any advice on tips. I don't like the foam tips. Has anyone used the grey ones from shure ( not sure of they are called olives)

The black foamies are called olives, and should work well but I have heard of some issues with them being hard to remove from the nozzle. Supposedly any tips from the Shure SE line will work with the W3's.

I've never used a Westone product so I'm not sure what tips may work the best but possible Sony Hybrid Tips as well, as it seems like those may be a good size but I'm not positive. I can confirm it tomorrow maybe.

Sony Hybrid Tips wont work unless u modded it. It's differently sized, used generally for UE, Senn, Sony, NuForce, etc

Oh they're too big? Hmm I wasn't sure because they're extremely snug (too much imo) on the my IE8's.

Zalithian - Those are all good reasons...I don't blame you. They say mine shipped today as well but I don't expect to have it until Monday so I'll be posting my comments Tuesday.

I will certainly be spending the whole day tomorrow with them. Not sure the pictures will be great coming from my cell phone but hey, better than nothing.

So, I take it you primarily did it for humanitarian reasons?

That is correct. The sound tube on the Hybrids is an in-between size, can be stuffed on the Seens or NuForce, but too big for the Westone nozzle (at least the W3).
