Wow, I hope Shure sues them and makes them go out of business and takes the money they got from the lawsuit and make a 5 driver earphone!!! 2 subwoofers, 1 midrange driver, 1 tweeter, and one driver that just randomly says "Shure's the best!!!"

"new" ES3X custom with bronze? it should be still in custom format.

The Etymotic ER4 is far from being balanced. It has great clarity and detail but the BASS is nearly nonexistent.

Will be interesting to hear if the UM3X sounds like the ES3X.

The ES3X is one of the best IEM's I've ever heard.

Mind blowing... What Westone trying to achieve here? Less ES3X sold but more UM3X?

The design look cool imo. Look similar to frankenstein UM2. Half black, half clear. I like this look better than W3.

The only tips that come with UM3X is pair of Comply. That's stingy hahaha. I guess on-stage performers use Comply rather than UM56...

I think it will be lower priced after a few months. Currently W3 can be purchased for USD340-360 compared to USD399 SRP.

Properly fitted W3 has tone similar to how what ES3X is review to be (not the refinement though).

I am guessing this one will either sound identically to the two, or follow the suit of ES3 (depending on if this is a marketing ploy trying to efficiently use ES3X internal design or they are making an earphone truly just for stage use).

At 56 ohms this IEM will require an amp so it certainly will NOT compete with SE530. This will be pretty a unique offering....
