Need Help deciding which IEMs to buy - Page 2

Slightly bass heavy, but I'm a big fan of the Sony MDR-EX51's. They're nothing amazing, but IMO they're solid performers for a bargain price (if you buy online, in stores they seem to go for $40-$50). Only complaint is that I can't keep the damn silicone tips on them so I have to keep replacing them (using complys now instead).

Here are my recommendations if you don't want to burn a hole in your wallet:

For more bass, try the Sony MDR-EX90LP. The bass is pretty deep but not "boomy," but treble is just a tad lacking.

If you don't mind a slight lack of bass, the Ultimate Ears Super.fi 3 studio is a really good choice, provided you use the Comply T-500 eartips instead of the UE-provided eartips (the Comply tips got me a great in-ear fit and a dramatic improvement in the sound quality of the SF3).
