probably take a few days.

do not choose plastic or rubber surfaces for leather padded phones, they may stick!

these coach cd/dvd cases were ideal.

Much easier to just bend the metall joints with your hands.

in the past, i have ruined many pairs taking the strong armed approach. usually ended up with an acutely "A" bent headpiece.
i have learned my lesson that i do not have finesse in this area.

Yeah I used the pillow fold-in-half method for my D1001's.

anywhere in the USA sells them yet?

you can find it on FS forum if you keep an eye out diligently.. nobody in US has stock because they're limited and sold out.. can get them at pricejapan.com but best is to watch the FS forum here

i'll be doing this for the next 2 days.
apparently, the coach leather had some 'give' and the lambskin pads were not crushed or altered in any way.

I used a chopstick (at the metal strips) to stretch my pair out a bit.

I few atretches like that with yor hands each time you but them on will have the same effect after a week or so. Wont F up your pads either.

The pillow method sounds good! I might have to try that with my next phones!
