It sucks to be a week without music, so I sent it Priority. A week later, they arrive.

Guess what? Lo and behold, they arrive damaged. The treble tube was like fused shut in the right ear. I had to use tweezers to pull it out, and those, too, were damaged in the right ear. ARGH!!

I appreciate that their customer service is quick and convenient, but why can't the headphones be cross-shipped at the very least? It sucks to be without music for not just one, but TWO weeks for an issue that was out of my hands in the first place. I think at the very least they could send my 2nd replacement pair back priority or something.

Least to say, I'm pretty disappointed with the quality issues in the Sleeks still to this day. I mean, send a damaged replacement pair!?!?
For me some accessories were always half missing but damaged pairs are worse and one thing I wouldn't sure accept for one second.
Last week I send my second one back for repair (2008 model). The treble ports gave me always trouble as well anyway so I finally had enough. I was too early out for getting the new revision btw. The sound wasn't my liking either but that of cause personal experience.
I’m thinking this time I go join Phonak instead and see they what they offering.

Sleek Audio, I hope we all going to see better build in future models from you.
If this happening and people like them, then I do not mind join you again.
But for now, maybe another time.

I had it twice that the trebble port was stuck in my ear.... and my ears are narrow. It was stuck in there so deep i even thought i might have to go to surgery to get it out as tweezering didn't seem to help... luckily it wasn't needed.

However, i have a pair of the sa1 and the screw version of the treble port (along with them being metal and not plastic) seems to be a good solution. I'm obviously still going to use the sa6 (i superglued the treble ports) But that's because they are just so damn expensive to just not use.

I'm really sick of the SA6. They have great sound quality, but I've had this cord for only about two months and it has already gone out!

2008 or 2009 version cable ?

2008- right angle plug, silver plates here and there

2009- straight plug, lesser memory effect

Been a while since I cried about a pair of SA6s (I got IE-8s and these look to be incredibly durable so far).

After getting the W1 and SA6 replaced (they gave me a 2009 SA6, I think), I tucked it away until I gave it to my sister. Now the treble port is loose on one side (it just pulls out really easily), the left cable on the W1 is having problems, and I think I've had enough of the shoddy construction (even though I'm not the one dealing with it anymore).

I'm sure the warranty's expired now so now I can finally move on completely, as I have no other recourse. I just wish I could get another IE-8 locally for my sister, the e-tailer that has a shop on the same street I work on seems to have run out entirely.
