Fiio E5 battery life/power problem/question - Page 2

I get at least 15 hours.

But then again I only use 3 or 4 cliciks of volume on the E5 and max out my nano. There is much less hiss this way.

I have - or rather had - exactly the same rig. Fuze + Atrio + E5. The E5 didn't seem to add much in the way of volume. Battery life was not great on the E5 either. Although I never measured it directly, it needed to be charged much more often than the Fuze.

The battery on my E5 has now died altogether and refuses to recharge. The purple light comes on during charging, but turns off immediately I disconnect the cable and refuses to respond to presses of the button. This is after four months of very light use.

I bought my E5 from dealextreme.

I'm very disappointed, and won't buy another one. I was also disappointed with the Atrios, so the whole experience has been somewhat of a bummer...
