So i placed my pre-order on amazon for he new S4's
Available from next month, anyone placed their order?

No more stupid cloth cable..

I dont think the s2 is worth it, from what i understand from reading on klipsch site

How does the S2 stack up against the S4? and the Denon C551?

I'm kinda interested in the S4 but I'l awaiting the S2 because my Denon C551's (which are like 2 months old) IEM housing is falling apart and I'm not sure if Denon will replace them.

I usually don't pre-order without reviews; but I am looking forward to how these sound. Good luck to all that pre-order, hopefully those with review samples can put up their impressions soon.

S2 available sometime in July - probably won't see it on Amazon until June

They go down to 10Hz? And up to 19Hz?

I <3 sub-bass. I also <3 sparkly, extended treble. I might get a pair if they turn out to be super awesome and there are no cable or durability issues.

You should ignore freq response ranges unless they're really bad. Pretty much all dynamic drivers can get 20-20k, but that doesn't mean it's going to sound good or even audible over the rest of the music.

I know, but I'm hoping for the best with these.

It says "enhanced bass", so that probably means they're bassy. But I'm hoping Klipsch put some sparkle in the highs this time.

I still say that these might not be the ones to run out and pre-order with Klipsch being overpriced and having past cable problems.

Still we need the guinea pigs to find out for sure.

SchneiderStudios, what do you have to compare them with to see how they stack up?
