Daydreaming: HFI-780? PRO 900? PRO 750? - Page 4

after reading all 4 pages. I'm still lost on getting Pro 750 or 780 HFI.

The 900 can wait another year, but for now I cant decide.

I did try out the ultrasone 580 at my b&h in nyc, the sound wasnt great but im guessing they were burned in and lower models.

What im looking for is little of bass, meanwhile im able to hear everything else clearly.

music i listen to is all kind of rock, electronic, dubstep and little of rap hip/hop.

any idea  ??

Nice bump. From what I have gathered, the 750s will be less forgiving with the quality of the music you feed it. This means more details, etc. whereas the 780 HFI would be more friendly towards lower bitrate files, remixes and sources, like Pandora. I doubt that is what you're looking for, but it should help.

All of music in my ipod nano are all over 320 flac and have a fiio e7

Gah, this thread and the seemingly hundereds of others are killing me.  Denon D2000, Ultra Hfi 780, or Ultra Pro 900's.  Almost all of what i listen to is from rhapsody, or 128-320-VBR songs.  I am look at these 3 because I want a direct upgrade from ATH-M50s and am using a FiiO e7/e9 combo.

I will wear these for upwards of 40hrs a week, and am now crazy :-)

PRO 900 may actually be the headphone I end up with but will see. I am never going into the 1000$ market and upwards anyway that´s for sure.
