Beats by Dr. Dre - Page 2

I've tried these and I didn't like them much. Keep in mind that noise cancellation is not the same as noise isolation, headphones that block out noise for that price can be much better. You probably already know this but I thought I'd point it out just in case.

I like the look, comfort, and surprisingly, these are quite well balanced headphones. Bass is strong and still believable despite all my expectations the bass would be exaggerated, and overall there isn't really any significant flaw in the overall sound.

The deal killer has to be the need to always use power to hear anything, and the hissing of the ANC, and the fact that the price is a bit steep. For less money, I'd stick with my Denon D2000 if you don't need noise reduction. And of course, you'd be giving money to Monster Cable which is not something I like to do on principle.
