How to recable my Koss KSC-75? Please help! ^ ^ - Page 2

yes thats the silver.

If its popped in and squashed just make sure your holding it driver face down and then slam it not massively hard onto a flat desk and it should pop the driver out. Some people have also used tape to try that but a short sharp bang shouldnt damage anything and provide enough force to pop it back out the right way.

How do you know which wire is the negative/positive or which is the ground?

Multimeter is your friend.

Or, in case you don't have it, open the covers on both drivers, the ground wires will have the same colors (orange).

Is there a good budget ready made cable to buy?

Bump. Does somebody have a tutorial for this or any help? I want to put a four pin on a pair of KSC75s. What kind of solder would work well?

Take your pick of any eutectic solder. If you have environmental concerns pick an ROHS version.
