I'm looking to protect my earphone cables with a braided sleeve (nylon...etc.) or heat shrink tubing under these conditions:
- the optimal ID (internal diameter...) should be 1/16"
- the tube/cable/sleeve must be able to stretch to an ID of 1/4"
Is this possible? Can anyone interpret this page and tell me if the heat shrink i'm looking for is on there? Any other possible solutions?
In case anyone was looking, I did find this, the only problem is that it's for 1/8" cables and would be too heavy for earphones. That site also has some more interesting varieties of cable protection if anyone is looking (No 1/16" though...).
Thanks.
