Favourite Radiohead album - Page 4

I just voted for "OK Computer" for one particular reason: look at the release date, it suits that time SO well. Around this time the "impact" (or however one likes to call it) of (affordable) PC's hit a lot of people (me in any case) and from then on there was a different way of entainment and I think a majority of people in lots of countries kill time now in a different way.

Other than that I would have voted for "In Rainbows" because of the fact that I just melt when I hear a lot of the songs listed on the back of that CD cover. Same goes for OK Computer too, but it's kinda different. I can't explain this anyway, so there's no need to babble any further.

Just one more thing: how do you guys like the bonus discs of these two albums? I was under the impression that most of the time B-Sides and/or bonus discs out there are just fillers or something similar, but these two bonus discs changed my mind regarding this.

Radiohead has always had great B-sides. Trickster,Talkshow host,Killer Cars, just to name a few.

Here's my ranking of Radiohead's Albums:
OK Computer
In Rainbows
The Bends
Kid A
Amnesiac
Pablo Honey
HTTT

Yes, I would honestly place HTTT last. I still love it, but none of their songs seem like a cohesive group effort. Historically, the HTTT sessions was also the high point of the band's infighting. The sessions were tense and I think that shows through in the recordings. Sort of like how (IMO)the white album was the worst Beatles album because each song was merely an individual effort.

The Bends. Their most accessible album yet has held up surprisingly well.

Neither. It sounds incredible IMO, one of their most well mastered albums.

I voted Kid A simply because it is awesome, although I do like Amnesiac too and probably put them on the same level.

Second would probably be In Rainbows or Hail to the Thief.
