Laptop setup ~$300

Well,I got a friend who would like some speakers for and by the looks it, needs a soundcard/DAC for his laptop to replace his crappy lappy onboard.

What would you recommend?

I need the items to be able to be shipped internationally if possible.

EMU, Keces, Fubar, Trends UD10.

EMU0202 is the cheapest of the bunch if the 300$ is to include speakers as well. If its just for a DAC, then there are better options as listed above.
