Amp Recommendations.

I am looking for a portable amp/dac for my Sure SE530. I also have R 10s and HD 600s so I may occasionally put those on the portable amp. Sound quality is my top priority. I was thinking about the Predator, I-Qube V2 and maybe the Nuforce or ibasso D10 if they can compete. I will be using the Imod and Itouch as sources. Since the Imod already has a good Wolfson DAC in it, maybe an exteranl one is not necessary, but for the Itouch I would want and external one. In the end, I may end up getting two amps, one for the Imod without a DAC and one for the Itouch with the DAC/amp combo. Thoughts? Any input for recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks

well if SQ is paramount and you want to run fullsize headphones on it every now and again I would recommend the lisa III, but this is a bit larger than most other portable amps. lets get one thing straight, you cannot use a portable dac with either IMOD or itouch. neither of these have a digital out that is accessible. portable amp/dacs are for use with laptops, or in some rare cases with a DAP with a digital out (usually on optical) like iriver H100 series and some PCDP's; digital out is a rarity in portable audio and most of the units that did have it, are long out of production and thus command premium prices because of their rarity. so if you are buying an amp/dac based on being able to use it with your portable players; neither of them will be able to use one; you will only be able to utilize the analogue/amp section.

So I just need amplification then. got it. It sound like Lisa is a great amp, but just a little to big.

I was pleasantly surprised by how well the D10 drove my HD 650's. The bass was a little anemic, but it was still very enjoyable. I cant compare to the Lisa.

Resurrecting this one for my own sake..

I'm looking for an amp to go between ipod touch(G1) and se530's too..and was curious how an amplifier is going to impact the Shure's(which already have a pretty low sensitivity{119db maybe?}) tonally. I'd like something that would push the lows up further than where they stand right now, maybe giving more distance to the highs(better soundstage/tone cymbals, etc.)-- All in all, maybe relieving some of the shortcomings of the 530's.

As far as options go? I think I'm leaning toward the RSA line, as I tend to favor things on the warm side..but which one? Anyone have any experience with the synergy between the Shures and..amp "x?"
