Hi to all!
I've been having some rather strange responses from my shures (e3c) whenever I hook them up to the newly purchased go-vibe magnum. The amp isn't technically new, it has roughly 300 hrs on it. I had gotten it as an alternative to corda headsix (which I absolutely love with its brilliant highs and mids). However, by stupid impulse I decided that I needed more bass (and the convenience of gain control) and bought this thing.
Now, while I do get more bass, all the highs and mids are rolled off and generally sound smeared. Having very little experience in the world of quality portable sound, I am not sure if the go-vibe needs to be paired with different phones or is generally not that great of an amp?
Or do I need to just pair the headsix with different phones if I still want to preserve the clarity of its sound but extend the bass?

since it is very difficult for me to truly "test" things out without committing to a purchase first. Best I can do is rely on research and suggestions from those who know a thing or two about these matters
