Oakey (from the first page or so) is wearing Sony mdr-v600's (note the characteristic hinge that juts out a bit)

The post involving BT, the top pic is mdr-v700 and the bottom is mdr-v7506/v6.

Some lookalikes from the Sony world:
7506/v6
7509/v900 (and to a lesser extent, v600)

DJ1 Pro's. The difference is that the earcups are round (instead of oval) and the earcup attachment is flush with the earcup.

Just stright pop junk with good ambiance, big freaken deal. Youtube some of his stuff before believing the hype or buying Arnej's material, he made his break when Armin featured some of his work in 2008 on State of Trance. Personally I like Progressive Trance as you can hear some really interesting and cool material, but Arnej's material is boring and predictable, polar opposite reasons why I listen to the genre. Man sounds like I really bashed on Arnej, apologize, I just disagree. If you like his sound, then he did his job.
Ohh my ! sorry for the spelling mistake !!
its weird though you have such a negative opinion of him .. I have heard alot through years and without a doubt , he's got a unique style. His production are refreshing , and somewhat different from everything i've heard so far.But that's only my point. The things is that i would never say some **** like "he's boring" or "listen to his stuff before believing , buying..." as i have too much respect for trance and those who produce it.One last thing, next time if you really DO apologize, then dont post.

Ok, I'm trying to bring new life into this old thread. lol
Here's a pic of PVD from when I saw him a couple months ago here in Dallas at the Lizard Lounge. He is wearing some IEMs, but I don't know if they're stock or custom. Can anyone confirm?

Typical, tiring and annoying rant on Head-Fi. K701 has no bass, K701 horrible for electronic music, K701 sucks for Trance.

He produces all of his own music (he considers himself producer first, then DJ), I don't doubt he uses them in his studio. He doesn't hire an engineer, does it all himself.
