Need an IC

I need to buy an IC to go between my Sansa and my E5. It needs to be about 6" and have two right angle connectors. So far the best option I've been able to find is this one. The total cost of it would be about $38, with shipping to Canada. I tried eBay and couldn't find anything I'm willing to buy (I don't really wanna spend $50 on an IC that goes between equipment that totals about $80). Any suggestions?

I was going to recommend the Cardas IC you already mentioned. Try other sources because 20$ shipping is just crazy. I have sent a complete headphone cable for ~4€ from the Netherlands to New York. Maybe e-mail them as well for a better price.
If that doesn't work I am sure you can get in touch with one of the DIYers here. Just browse through the DIY cable thread and see if there is someone willing to make a cable for you. I am sure there are, but please don't post in that thread as it has a no-discussion policy.

although this might not be bad either: "SILVER DRAGON" MINI TO MIN FLAT CABLE (3.5MM PLUG) - eBay (item 290307270561 end time Apr-08-09 20:59:50 PDT)

i picked up both for the same setup: clip + e5. the silver dragon might be good because it's shorter and so lack of RA might not be such a big deal.

I do need two RAs because my headphone out is on top of my rig and the amp input is on the bottom facing the opposite direction. Here is a downright awful picture I took with my cell, but it gets the point across. Yes that's as big as it gets...

I just bought a pair of HD555's from a head-fier in the states and the lowest he said he could get was $23 I think it was, that was from UPS though and it took like 3 days to ship

Sure it can. I've gotten lots of little stuff from the States and even Hong Kong in a padded envelope by mail for $3. or less. It may take a week or 10 days though.
