iBasso D2 issues

hey, i was wondering if anyone could help me. i received my d2 today, and while the amp section works perfectly, the usb dac is worrying me. for one, it doesnt always hook up to my laptop (running xp pro). secondly, if its on and playing music,etc (basically functioning), if i pick the d2 up or touch it, almost instantly the sound shorts out and never comes back. i have to turn the d2 off, reconnect and hope that the d2 gets recognized by the computer again. anyone else have these issues? or is this actually common (i cant really pick up the d2 at an angle while its on?)

any help is appreciated.

Have you tried a different USB cable?

I'd second this. With the stock cable, my D2 was doing the exact same thing (using Ubuntu). Switching cables fixed it.

will try a different cable though to be honest, i havent even used the stock cable yet.
