CONGRATS KEITH!!!!

You are a really nice guy and I bet she is a good girl too.
You are now obligated to post a picture of the two of your together!

Why don't we call this the Relationship Advice thread?

My Parents have 5 children and the biggest thing for them was to be easy-going. If it can't be done immediately, let the other person know along when it will be done. Stupid little arguments are just not worth the time.

GET TIVO! It will make your life much easier. Girls are lets say, more randomly temperamental. Sometimes a girl will just want something done immediately for no real reason. The sooner that you can just take care of it, the happier you will be.

Have three bank accounts. One Mutual for the bills, savings, etc. and small separate ones for you to have your own spending money. Saved my parents from a lot of arguments since they each buy what they feel like. My mom used her money to take us on a cruise and dad used his for a new 70" HDTV for the Basement Home theater. They both got what they wanted for big purchases.

From my own relationships:

Make sure to have time apart from each other and remember not all of your friends need to be "couple" friends or share the same best friends. Some people, like myself, need their space.

Never go to sleep Angry or Worried. It only gets worse the next day. Always try to "Kiss and Make up".

Tell her how much you care about her every once in a while. We just need to hear it.

Few weeks ago, my guy canceled our night out plans last minute on a Friday night. It didn't disturb me too much because one of my roommate's boyfriend was having a birthday party which I wasn't planning on going to because we had made plans. Well, he then didn't call me or talk to me for 4-5 days. I called him to see what was up and he said that he didn't call because he figured that he was "in the Doghouse" and I wouldn't want to talk to him. The point of this is that him not communicating was worse than a last minute cancellation of our plans. Try to keep in communication without being overbearing.

Haha! Who is going to sing at your wedding? You guys must do a duet!

Subjectivity is not a virtue.

Virtue for virtue's sake... not a virtue...

Always get the car door, Tell her how much you love her every once in a while. I like to bring surprises home for my wife, Could be anything, flowers, candy, a card, anything with bright colors. the point is that its random and not because its an event and you are obliged. Get a clue as to what she is interested in (you say she supports your audio hobby), for my wife its stuff like Channel, Louis Vuitton, Versace, Juicy Couture, etc. etc. etc. Take initisitive to plan a night out that she will enjoy without having to ask her or tell her the plans in advance, just say "We are Going out, dress up"! Last but not the least, have patience and understanding, its a two way street. I guess you can tell im crazy about my wife, I am super lucky.

Congrats!

Make a point of getting problems out in the open. I've seen any number of relationships die because the problem was so "obvious" and the other side was so insensitive, uncaring, etc., etc., that they never addressed the problem. Of course, the other side never knew there was a problem in the first place. Then it goes downhill from there.

Make it very, very clear that issues have to be dealt with directly. When they do, you don't have to roll over and give in every time. But you do have to fully listen without comment every time. Then you can find a solution.
