Just refoamed my Bang & Olufsen Penta's

All 8 midranges had bad foam surrounds that were rottting from age. So I bought the kit, glued it all up, and WOW!!! The midrange is so much more detailed and clearer and imaging is fantastic. Any B&O fans here?

Not a fan at all. They want to take 180€ to repair my Beomaster 1900 and there aren't lots of things broken into .

They have always been overpriced on everything, they are a luxury brand. But I got mine for a very good deal used so I like them. They perform very well. Not worth the retail, but they definitely arent slouches either

 I know this is an old post but I have a set of Penta's.  I replaced the surrounds on the midrange drivers two years ago with the butyl rubber kit.  It took about a month or so to break in.  Now the mids sound better than ever.  Great speakers.  I have had them since 1988.
