Couldn't see a thread with this topic on here anywhere so I thought I'd start one.

First off My dad's been an audiophile from ever since I remember, I know a long time ago he used to own a set of Stax, no idea of the model number's, various speakers & amps. He's also owned a set of Mission speakers which I believe set him back quite a bit.
He's a bose guy I used to be too... But Not anymore
Around 9 years ago he dumped around £1000 on one of their Wave system's, I was small then and couldn't hear any difference at all... But now I'm getting into higher end gear, I still can't hear too much from the system, doesn't sound great to me! Hell my Aego's sound better (to me) & they were 1/10 of the price!
I also used to like bose (Took a shine to the Companion 5 setup) that I see over in germany on display a few years ago, thought it sounded pretty good at the time, that's also changed now also because of my Aego's..
Anyway past systems I've owned, There's only two really...
First was a Denon DM30
Next came my Jamo A305 Home Cinema System
In the end I sold my Denon to raise some cash, and the Jamo sadly stopped working (The amp) I think this was due to magnetism corruption, the firmware slowly died on it. So in the end the separates were sold on ebay.
How about you guys?
