SOLD: Bel Canto DAC3 {1500 USD}

I picked up my Bel Canto DAC3 from a fellow on CanuckAudioMart.
He was the first owner, and it is a year old.

Also comes with remote, owner's manual, orignal box and power cord.
It's in excellent condition except there are 2 blemishes on the front faceplate that are less than a mm long.
They look like flakes of dust.

1500 USD + shipping.
PayPal add 2.9% in canada, 3.9% international.
I accept money order as well.
Regards.

EDIT: And please, NO LOWBALL OFFERS

EDIT:I found out that my Bel Canto DAC3 can accept 240 V, switch is at the bottom right corner.

The link showing that switch doesn't work. It's linked to gmail for some reason.

I know this is a For Sale thread, but I think the following will help buyers decide.

Got this information from a reputable company about voltage conversion for Bel Canto DAC3. I did not try it, as mine came already converted. So, I am not taking any responsibility.

Here it goes:

Quote:

The DAC3 power supply board is internal and will require removal of the top cover. Once the cover is removed, locate the power supply board (labeled 2208). This board should be easy to identify as it has 2x blue transformers and all the other indications of a power supply board (diodes, capacitors, regulators with heat sinks, fuse, etc). Locate the silver power switch at location SW1. The switch has clearly labeled markings for 120 and 240V settings. Choose the appropriate setting for your local voltage 100-120V AC uses the 120V position, 200-240V AC uses the 240V position. No fuse value change is required. Fuse value should be 500mA (.5A) Slo-Blo. Some power supply boards may have a 250mA (.25A) fuse installed. Rev A boards (2208-A) indicate the fuse value is .25A (120-240VAC 0.25A Slo-Blo). Both 250mA & 500mA values are OK, although the preferred value is now 500mA (.5A).

End Quote.

Hope this helps.
