Extension Cords.....

Recently I have been told that a better extension cord can make a great difference on the sound quality.

I am using q-jays and my buddy told me that a ES3 extension cord would be a good choice for me.

Any ideas?

Using my Denon c751 through it's stock extension cord and my Grado one I can't tell a difference.

Not really sure what you mean...
* That an extension cord make a difference in sound quality compared to no extension cord? Yes, that's highly possible. But only in a negative way, I would say.
* Than one extension cord make a difference in sound quality compared to a different extension cord? Yes, that is highly possible as well. Since different cables are built using different material (conductor, connector, solder, insulation, ...).

There is a difference in cables. Whether you will hear it is very questionable.
