All I have to say is that their awesome pair of headphones. Great sound stage, vocals are a bit too strong, you can feel the bass other than hearing it, and great for movies. Comfort is 4.5...

I know people bash on Bose because of they're over priced and I agree. I believe these retail for about $150 or so and I paid $85 for these due to employee discount at where I work. With that...

I bought these headphones as an upgrade from my BD DT-770 Pro 80Ohm. The are better in all areas, except that the right can can't handle bass. As soon as there are low bass it just becomes a...

everything about these headphones is flawless. Everything is balanced, and perfect. Any of the reviews that didn't like them most likely have a fake pair, or, hate life. The only thing I could...

I haven't been around here much, but I think I can say pretty definitively that there is no "best". Different strokes for different folks. I do think many would commend those as an excellent choice for many.

The only competition they have among the open backs is the HD555, MS1, and I think the AD700 stands heads above those 2. The HD555 is just as bass light as the AD700, while the MS1 has a very poor soundstage. Among the closed back you could say that the D1001, ES7 and maybe the RX700/RX900 are great all rounders, but then their sound is different from the open backs so whether or not they are better than the AD700 is down to personal preferences.

How you continue to judge so many headphones is incredible. Also the RX900 aren't closed back.

Personally, I like the MS1 best. Except for soundstaging this headphone is plain good. I mod the senn 414 pads I use a little differently and that gives me a gentler treble. But otherwise stock, these headphones sound great.
