SR60 vs SR60i

I know this has probably been covered all ready, but I did a quick search for 'sr60 sr60i' and it didn't turn up any thing too useful. So basically I'm wondering, is there a huge (if at all) noticeable gap between the two models? I know the Grado website states that there's an improved driver design and housing, but is the difference that great?

The reason I'm asking is because I'm interested in getting a pair of MS1's, and I was wondering if I should wait for the design update or not. I know someone on here stated that they emailed Alessandro and found out that they would eventually switch over to the "improved" design.

The jury's still out over whether the "i" stands for improved, inferior, or irrelevant. Get the phones you want and ignore the marketing. :O)
