Lets be real here. You're buying the whole presentation at seventeen hundred smackers, that includes a sharp looking headphone and a fancy box for storage.

Its insulting to pay that much of a premium and get some foam and cardboard for a box. And its not like they had to do wood, they could of done a hard plastic case like what the HD800 will come with and like what the Ultrasone Edition headphones comes with.


Sorry for ranting a little. The headphone itself is indeed very pretty [except for the plastic blocks].

John knows that the fanboys will buy it anyway lol...I do agree that it's a bit cheap

That is indeed what he's banking on [pun intended]. Personally that rubs me the wrong way, very disprespectful to your customers who are paying top dollar for a top product, so i'd sooner whittle my own box then give him a dime more than what the HP costs.
