Anyone have any experience comparing these two?




I am sorry that I started this thread. I honestly thought that I might have gained and shared some good information with fellow head-fiers. Instead it's turned into a circus. If I could delete it I would. Next time I'll wait for good information from a reputable source. Ignorance is supposed to be bliss. In this case it has been painful. I apologize for my part in making this the worst thread that I have seen on head-fi.

Based upon my experience, I would say they both sound a little thin.

is it me or do i sense some massive flame bait?

i'm sure there will be ridiculous amount of reviews on these two respective cans when they are released. You should make your way to Jude's hd800 impressions if you haven't already...

In my extensive listening tests, both cans exhibit a layer of transparency and neutrality that is out of this world. In fact, they sound so clear that it is like I have never even listened to them in the 1st place

At this point I'd say my KSC75s sound better than either.

That's what I was thinking. They both sound a lot like the Ultrasone Edition 8 to me. I'd say that all 3 are on an even playing field (err, unplayed field).

Its a bit too early to compare the two right now. There are very few who got to hear both..

but I'm not much of a Grado fan.. Senn all the way!

Who are these "few"? Pretty sure nobody has heard both yet since Zanth is the only one who has heard the PS1000.

Well the HD800 is big silvery and nice looking and the PS1000 looks like something that will bring a tear to the hardest person, sadly only a blind person has seen it (who also cryed in joy).
