I don't know if this is by design or not, but I can't get my bass+ ports to fit flush with the earphone like the neutral port (there's about a millimeter between the earphone and the flat wall of the port). I am able to get the neutral and bass- ports on fine, but for some reason, the + ports will not do so. Anybody know about this?

Mine is like this as well with the newer bass+ ports, but it doesn't seem to affect the performance in any way.

yep, only new bass + port is like this. same as what tacitapproval said, no affected performance. in some of the new bass + ports, i noticed that the yellow shell is not pushed all the way inside, so you might wanna take a tweezer or pin and gently push it in.
