FS: Monarchy Audio NM24 DAC and AC Regenerator

NOW FOR SALE!

The upgrade bug is killing me! So I am trying to gage the interest in a Monarchy Audio NM24 DAC and matching Monarchy AC Regenerator.

The NM24 DAC is both a tube and a SS DAC, with the added bonus of a tube line stage. This unit retails for $1,590 plus about $40 in S&H. I also have a Monarchy AC Regenerator which retails for $850 with +/-$40 for S&H. The AC Regenerator converts the ac to dc and back to ac after filtering and generating a pure sine wave.

I would rate the units as 9+ out of 10 for the AC Regenerator, and 8+ out of ten for the NM24 (painting imperfection by manufacturer on the top cover). I will also include an RCA to 1/4" headphone jack made by S2 Audio. This cable converts the output of the Line Stage to an excellent headphone amp.

Both units delivered would set you back $2,520 so I am looking to see if there is any interest. I have had the NM24 DAC since August 2008 and the AC Regenerator was bought a month later. Thanks and here is a picture.

Are you willing to sell the NM24 separately?

Also, does the NM24 upsample or oversample any of the various incoming sources? (ie. 16/44.1, 16/48, 24/96)

If you run the solid state DAC section only, then are the tubes still getting power for the tube section? (yeah, I know..may sound like a weird question)

How about $1,650 for both including S&H w/ insurance CONUS. Payment via US Postal Service Money Order, or personal check (must clear prior to shipping).
