Wonder if the new SR325i's have the same type of cable "Y-joint". Not sure if this is the right term, but I'm referring to the location on the HP cable where the left/right cable connects to the single cable. My biggest complaint with my "old-style" 325i's is that this spot on the cable seems to be a bit crimped...makes me worry about durability of the cable. Otherwise, I love these HP's!

If only someone can confirm that the SR225i do sound good enough to overlook that cheap new look..
I picked up the SR225i headphones a week ago and WOW...worth the upgrade. Slightly more detail and refined sound. The chord is literally twice as thick, so less impedance = better sound.

Run don't walk and pick these babies up. They are Headroom.com's favourite (sorry for the Canadian/English spelling) in the Grado line up and I would almost agree. I think they are less shrilly on the high end then the 325is when I tried them out.

@MacedonianHero

What price did you get your SR225i's for?
