True, Senn, Grado and Ultrasone! Will AKG join battle?

Yeah, but Grado has not made an unpredictable metal phone. The 325 could be a bit bright, but the PS-1 and HP-2 (made by his uncle) have no glaring faults at all. Smooth across the whole frequency spectrum.

PS-1000 is metal
I don't see PS-1000 in Grado homepage....

True, and I wonder how similar the PS-1 and PS-1000 will sound?

Thanks, I was getting a little worried about the backlash that could come from this if it wasn't true....

But now it's coming straight from the horse's mouth, thanks Robm321.
You can find actual confirmation on the Gradolabs website at the bottom of the headphone variations page.

I don't see anything different about the grado page. You mean the main company page?
Oh, I found it.

Professional Series is mentioned on the top of the headphones page (not on the tab)

tintin47, on Grado Labs, Inc.

So the new Grado i-line looks all well and good. But no changes at all to the RS 1, 2 and GS1000?

As for the i-line, will the all now have similar (the same) cable as the GS1000?

Also, the sale that we saw posted earlier, is this indicative of the price we'll see from now on for the GS 1, 2 and 1000? Or was that just a coincidence?

Edit:
I see the changes to the RS series on the Variations section.

Looks like I'm going to be sending my GS1000 back.

Also mentioned if you click on "Headphone Variations"

I found the ps-1000 mentioned, but no pics. The GS-1000i is mentioned in the same way, though there is nothing about any RS-1i or RS-2i.

It seems that they have switched to cimfy pads up to the sr125i...rs1i is mentioned in "Headphone variations"...but no updated photo...
i think the RS1i might be the one that i have, with the new thicker wire and other subtle changes. i also found it interesting that all the models up to the 225i are shown with comfy pads and not bowls.

Wow, the site has been updated, very suttle lol.

You can read about the changes in the product descriptions.

Looks awesome!

Did I miss the explanation on the page? I was wondering what the "i" designates. The descriptions of the phones seem like they are the same as the previous models?
