*Confirmed* Grado PS1000 is coming! - Page 9

I have heard the PS1... its a hype.
Sorry, I haven't heard the PS1. But, I have heard the HP-1000. Have you? I don't think it's hype.

I edited my original post for clarity.

No, but most see the PS1 as the king of the grado's, so I don't feel the need for tracking down a HP1000 anymore at all. Don't get me wrong the PS1 is a fantastic headphone, but I wasn't blown away by it at all, it was more like, ok yeah that sounds nice. When I listen to my RS1 for example, I get blown away a couple of times on my listening session. Each to their own offcourse, but the PS1 is not for me at the current prices.

Just wonder who are those people

Professional Series
A new level in headphone listening!

PS1000: The new Grado flagship headphone. Considered by those who have heard them to absolutely be the best headphone Grado has ever produced.
Could you give me a direct link to that? I can't find anything about the PS1000 on the website, except: sr325i and ps1000 are all metal.
Every single model now has 'improved drivers' aside from the cable differences. I love my 325is (#107)!
Yes I was surprised by that too, new wood, new cable, new transducers.
Hmmmm... the PS-1000 might be worth going into debt for. Though I'll probably wait to hear them at CanJam '09.

I was thinking the same thing. These updates come out of left field and catch everyone off guard yet they have the gaul to put that in their marketing. They should simply say "We consider it to be the best headphone we have ever produced" instead of implying its the public opinion.

Strongly considering canceling my HD800 now.

Then again, since I'm in the first run through Todd, perhaps I'll auction off my spot on ebay like it's a Nissan GTR.

So this is confirmed now? Oh god, why are all the headphone companies conspiring against my wallet?

The HP-1000 is a completely different animal from all the other Grado's. One of, if not the, my all time favorites.

I can't tell, are Grado still using the old photos for their RS1i, RS2i and GS1000i product pages?
