Hi Dan or anyone who can answer this...

what maximum volume can the DA11 go up to....mine goes up to 56 max...is that normal?
Yup, that's normal. To elaborate on the volume control:

(apologies to Dan for posting some of his company's IP )

It is out again, any idea when you will have more? What is the difference between DA10 and DA11 aside remote and PIC?

Hi Dan, I'm about to buy a DAC to couple with my itransport 170i, I'm wondering will the DA11 take the data from the 170i and reclock it and clean the jitter? For the 170i is infamours for its jitter issues. How the "ultral low jitter mode" works? Thanks a lot!

Not sure if Dan is monitoring this forum much anymore and I'm pretty sure the answer to your question is "yes", but you might get more response here:

Thanks for the information! I've bought DA11 today, sounds great.

The only reason I haven't gotten a DA11 is it has no analog input, and I use a tuner daily in the system I'd like to put the DA11 into. A single analog input and maybe the ability to switch sources by remote would make the DA11 perfect for me.

Just bought the DA11 at proaudiotoys.com for $1,258 US cupon code lavry got me something like $222 off!!!!

I've had my DA11 about a week now and all I can say is WOW! When the music stops dead silence. Only complaint is I've found it hard to listen to some of my favorite albums that I just discovered were poorly recorded or mastered. I just ordered a schiit Asgard can't wait to hear it.

What are the DA11 dimensions?

Please let us know how the Asgard compares to the DA11's built-in headphone amplifier.

Well worth the money. Kind of a nube. But the schiit was worth every penny. Just switched back to lavry only for the first time since I got my schiit. And I won't Be doing it again!!

Is it better to use coaxial rather than optical on the DA11? When using the balanced outputs, are both pins 2 and 3 on?

Coaxial or optical:

Most audiophiles will always recommend coaxial, however I think the jitter rejection is so good with the Lavry DA11 that you probably wouldn't be able to tell the difference between the two.  I know I couldn't, they both sounded equally good to me but I went with coaxial.

This reviewer couldn't tell a difference:

This reviewer felt there was a minor improvement with coaxial:

Balanced output pins from the DA11 output ...

... to a balanced input then yes, both pins 2 and 3 are on.

... to a single-ended input then usually only pin 2 needs to be on, that's what I'm doing.
