Something along the lines of the GS-1000 with a little funnel that directs the sound waves more in to your ear than normal?

If they make them out of mahogany they are going to be SWEET!

In-ear Grados.
Gotta wonder about the soundstage. Hmm.

Well, my local dealer is extending me a special upgrade offer since I received my GS1000's two days before Grado revamped their product line. So, I have some time to raise enough dough to trade in for the PS1000's...

You know...I'm thinking about buying the PS1000's and then never logging on to head-fi again... Probably be cheaper for me that way...

Haha, I feel the same way

Ahhh, and I thought I was going crazy a while back when Grado replaced my first pair of GS1000s. When I bought them, rods (square types) were so loose the cans would fall to the end if you held the headband. The cables were also glued to the back of the drivers.
The GS1000s they returned were seriously dark in color and had a slightly shorter, yet thicker cable. The cable was so dang thick (think: milkshake straw) I looked into the chamber and saw there were four runs per driver.
Lastly, the rods in the headband were round like my 325i, but attached to the nice thick headband.

I thought I must have one of the 'Frankenstein' jobs that some people report when the folks on the floor just grab what ever is in the 'headband part' cardboard box.

So... did I end up with a GS1000i four months before they came out?

With all this hoopla over the updated grados, is there any info on new Alessandros?
