Grado updates and info

HI All,

I know there are some questions about some of the Grado headphones that have been received recently. I just wanted to let you all know that the Grado website will be updated late next week with new info on all the Grado lineup. There will also be a very nice surprise - so check it out.

ugh hopefully not too nice of a surprise... i just bought RS1s =\

Exactly, probably a surprise that is useless for the current owners.

Cool...I like nice surprises. AND Grado's !!
Yay! Surprise! Surprise! Surprise!

And Grados!

Let's start some rumours... GS2000? RS3? SR425?

Or as I read somewhere today: RS1i

Maybe this is why Music Direct is having that sale?

Perhaps a new model to roll out at CanJam '09? The GS-1000 rolled out at the first one in New York.

Since the "surprise" is phrased in the singular, I think it'll be a new model instead of a product refresh. Based purely on speculation and conjecture, I think we'll get a new high end metal Grado using the GS-1000 pads.

as long as it doesn't beat the current GS1000 and buttoned RS-1, I'm ok.
Could it be the release of HF-2 ?
RS-1i ?
It'll be RS Zero.

I heard it was something regarding a new line of i-series headphones.

Consider this just a rumor/speculation though.

Hey, even though I took delivery of GS1000's YESTERDAY, I'm always up for a manufacturer advancing the state-of-the-art. It doesn't change my enjoyment of my current gear (it sounds the same as it did yesterday, right?) and it gives me something to dork-out over in the meantime.

indydieselnut, I actually just got some GS1k in the mail today, but thankfully with the return policy if the new offerings are something I just can't live without I can always send these back.

ATM this seems like an unlikely scenario.
