Maybe not everyone look in the Ultrasone thread and I am not at all sure it´s my PRO 900 that is the problem anymore.
I got some problem after applying Kees mod with getting a couple of very short buzzes not very unlike what you get with static electricity... But also a bit like what you get when touching a cow fenche
...
Generally got it when putting them on then it was fine. and maybe getting one little tickle but not more then once every hour maximum. Tried to fiddle a bit with keeping my amp powered on as always. I then tried to connect my headphones directly to my Elite PRO and didn´t got any tingles... then I connected them to my DAC/AMP and I did get the shocks after a while... I also noticed I could provoke them by moving my head up and down... (could do that as much I wanted before while not creating this problem even when connected to DAC/AMP...
Then after 4 short consecutive buzzes no sound!!! Connected directly to the soundcard headphones are fine. then connect from soundcard to amp works fine so it´s not the amp.
So it looks like it´s the DAC but how can it send electrical shocks to my left ear? Doesn´t it just output a signal to the amp. hard to believe that it can send electrical currents that can give you jolts like this? Maybe it´s the headphone that killed the DAC in the first place?
I tried both optical and coaxial on it. The led shows it gets a signal but it doesn´t send any out to the rca outputs obviously.
I will run them through my computer. I haven´t got any spike since then either but only run them for about 20 minutes after this episode.
