These headphones are manufactured in Japan by Sony Music Entertainment Japan. They're extremely well made as you would expect and feel like a solid and reliable piece of studio gear. Surprisingly they arrived in a plain brown cardboard box - this is not a regular consumer offering. I have never heard a more neutral set of headphones. If you like to do the DJ thing, the earpieces flip back completely so you can hold one side up to your head and look professional
