Sennheiser HD800 FR Comparison Graphs

Since Tyll and Co. at headroom have posted the Senn HD800 Frequency Response graph over at Headroom, I thought I'd throw together a couple of comparison graphs for the crew here to review and maybe even discuss.

Seemed reasonable for starters that most folks considering shelling out $1,400 for these cans would be interested in upgrading from a previous Senn flagship model or curious as to how they stack up against others in the same price range. Hence just the two graphs below.

All graphs are for unbalanced models just yet.


Sennheiser: Top 3 Models. HD 800, 650, 600

It looks like HD600 and HD650 combined but with none of their weaknesses. I can see why everyone is so excited.

I think the hd800 look like the top end of the d7000 and the bass from the hd 650:
