Certainly not more than your Parasound DAC's, or even Esoteric?

PS has a ton of information about the PWT and PWD on their site. The transport is a memory player and can read CDs and DVDs, including RR's HRx discs. No DVD-A or SACD support though. If you have the DAC, it can connect via I2S.

The DAC supports native or oversampling up to 24/192 and several filter options. The big deal about it though is the upcoming network bridge, which PS is using to challenge products like the Sooloos or Linn DS servers.

The PS Audio site has all sorts of specs, and 2 videos, one for the source, and one for the DAC.

This looks to be a very nice, do-it-all source for digital audio. ( well minus SACD and DVDa source ). Memory playing CD player, he takes out the CD while its playing, and it keeps going on the video. The "bridge" will get music from your NAS or music server computer.

$ 6K is pretty steep though. I also love my PSA DL III with lvl 4 mods, and don't really plan on spending that much anytime soon. (new turntable pretty much deep 6'ed the audiophile budget for the rest of the year)

The PWD and PWT can pretty easily be found for just north of 2k each.
