I made the decision today, to offer these for sale/trade/whatever. Make me an offer, or I'm asking $350 cash + shipping anywhere.
SR-5 - this headphone is bone-stock, and is the lighter-color version. The cloth-wrapped cord is in fine shape, plug good, pads, good, sound good, cosmetics good.
SRA-3S - the energizer is modded, the front and rear fascia have been replaced with black plexiglass, the inputs reduced to one stereo pair, the phono board has been removed, some wiring has been upgraded, and the output tubes test strong (but I have no idea what brand they are). This rig is far better than the transformer which came with the SR-5's and attached to an amp's speaker outputs.
Static Headroom - This is a bit of an enigma, as I could not tell at first that it did anything at all. As you probably know, it does reduce the sound-in-your-head feeling, and it also decreases listening fatigue, at least it did for me. It's a small black box with wall-wart power supply.
