hi guys..

today i opened my Senn IE7 case and found comply tips in it..thot of giving them another try..so while in bus i put them on...and this time i moved them around a bit and got a great fit for the first time.

extremely comfortable.

but i noticed sound isolation aint as good as my bi-flange..or maybe the bus was too noisy today?

what do u guys think of Comply tips sound isolation?

Shure olives give me better isolation but they are a pain in the ear. For all around comfort and isolation I like the Comply foamies as the best compromise between comfort and isolation.

I don't like their very short lifespan. I was going through a pair every 4-6 weeks and the cost eventually adds up. But yeah, the comfortability is exceptional, before they lose their expandability.

Very good isolation

Loses expandability after a month of use. Some of mine cracked after I tried to clean/wash it with soap and water

I have tried the Ety ER6 foams and thought they were comfortable and looked like they would last longer. I hated the flanged tips because they were not comfortable.

I have the CX500 and they are canalphones so they sacrifice isolation for comfort that is a good thing for me, in most cases. Except, riding transit.
