SEE PROS & CONS. NOTE: The clamping factor will obviously differ from person to person, but I'm surprised to find little mention of it, as it is the sole reason I'd never think twice about...

When I listened to the sound for the 1st time, I was hit by it. I was punched by the not-punchy-bass. I was hoping it would offer much better bass response than SE315.. equals to Klipsch Image...

As a very happy owner of a late 2008 model, and given the reviews of the 2009 I have read here, I cannot imagine one of these suddenly being orphaned. But you never know, and it never hurts to ask.
WARNING: Do not buy ANYTHING from Kevin at VA-LAB. I bought a Teradak Chameleon from him, It failed to respond after only 3 months of operation. I sent Kevin multiple emails informing him that it had broken, to which I have received no response. After contacting Teradak directly and telling them the issues I have had, I was asked to deal with the retailer, but when I informed them that I have not had any response from Kevin (over 2 weeks had elapsed) they agreed to deal with me. Michael at Teradak informed me that they sold cheap to the retailers so as the retailer could include their own guarantee it was the usb/i2c card in the dak broken and it would cost me $25 usd to replace it. SO UNDERSTAND THIS, KEVIN OFFERS NO WARRANTY ON HIS GOODS! I love my Chameleon it sounds great, but I found Kevin is totally out of order.
