then that gives you only the logitech then.. if you really like the logitech because you cant find any klipsch, i totally recommend the Altec Lansing FX4021. you REALLY wont be dissapointed. the sub is insane. dang the whole thing is insane and it seems to be in your price budget..

if you go with altec lansing, don't buy them retail, they're marked up 60% from cost. try and find them through means of ebay or craigslist or if you have a wholesale connection.

Looks very tempting, but i really dont want to spend that much money, 150 canadian plus huge shipping cost = too much for me. I think either the Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 or the Logitech z-2300 would be perfect for me, its just i need them to be a tad bit cheaper than from what i can find at 140$

Definitely better going with promedia. Look at the spec on these and then compare. They look like all the cheap ones i can see new on ebay from china. Though I haven't heard them so...can't be sure. But a 40W sub these days is a bit rubbish no matter how efficient it is.

Have you tried london Drugs? they used to carry Klipsch and could probably order it in.

Go vintage. It won't be as easy but you can literally get better sound for a fifth of the price.

yeah you could pickup some speakers I've got a pair last time I checked on ebay a couple went unsold so you'll get a bargain if you're a sole bidder. Pickup a stereo integrated amp again 1st and only bidder- not only will you have better sound quality, but more inputs & outputs, remote control & physical volume dial, possibly a/b switching and headphone socket.
